Appendix A – Interactive Survey Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

1. The draw will be completed by random selection of email addresses collected with permission during the survey.
2. Only residents of the ACT are permitted to enter the draw.
3. Employees of the Evoenergy and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter the competition, as are their immediate families.
4. Prize is one of five $100 EFTPOS gift cards.
5. To enter, entrants must have completed the Evoenergy EN24 survey online. Only one entry is permitted per person. Evoenergy reserves the right to verify the validity of entries.
6. Winners of the competition must be 18 years old and over.
7. Your personal details will be held for 3 months and are to be used for the purpose of the competition only, unless specified otherwise.
8. Evoenergy reserves the right to withdraw or amend the competition as necessary due to circumstances outside its control.
9. The prize is non-transferable and non-redeemable for cash. Any attempt to resell or auction all or any part of this prize will result in an immediate cancellation of the prize. Prize cannot be exchanged for anything else. In the event that, for any reason whatsoever, a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by Evoenergy then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize. Evoenergy accepts no liability to loss or damage of the prize in transit to the prize winner.
10. Evoenergy reserves the right to substitute the prize for an item of equal value at their discretion.
11. Evoenergy shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including, but not limited to, indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury, which is suffered or sustained, in connection with the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by laws.
12. Promotion commences 12 May 2022. Entries close 30 June at 11.59 pm. Survey may be extended at Evoenergy’s discretion.
13. By entering the competition, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these rules.
14. The information you are asked to provide is personal information and is protected by the Privacy Act 1988. Evoenergy will not disclose this information to other parties other than in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988.
15. Following the draw all contact details will be de-identified.
16. Independent financial advice should be sought as tax implications may arise as a result of accepting the prize.
17. In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not accept the prize at the time stipulated by Evoenergy then the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize.
18. Entries will be selected by Communication Link on behalf of Evoenergy at Unit 121/12 Provan St, Campbell ACT 2612 on 8 July 2022.
19. The winners will be notified in writing by email and contacted by phone by Communication Link within thirty (30) working days of the conclusion of the competition.
20. If Communication Link is unable to contact the winner within 30 days of the draw and has made every effort to contact them with the information provided by the entrant, then Communication Link will award the prize to another valid entrant.
